We will never use your personal data to train AI or machine learning models without your explicit consent.

2.1 How AI Memory Works


Cortier AI learns about you through conversation. Specifically:

  • What the AI remembers: Your name, preferences, interests, communication style, important people and events you mention, and behavioral patterns the AI observes over time

  • Where it's stored: In structured data files associated with your account

  • How it's used: Injected into the AI's context for every conversation to maintain continuity and personalization

  • Your control: You can view, edit, or delete any memory data at any time. You can also request a complete data export or deletion.

2.2 Cookies & Tracking Technologies


We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential cookies: Authentication, session management, and security

  • Preference cookies: Storing your settings and preferences

  • Analytics cookies: Understanding how users interact with the Service in aggregate

You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling essential cookies may affect Service functionality.

3. Third-Party Data Processing

3.1 AI Model Providers


To generate AI responses, your conversation data is sent to third-party AI model providers. These providers:

  • Process your data solely to generate responses on our behalf

  • Are contractually prohibited from using your data to train their models

  • Maintain appropriate privacy and security standards

We do not use providers that cannot satisfy these requirements.

3.2 Third-Party Service Integrations


You may connect the Service with third-party platforms and services (such as Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Tasks, and others) to enable additional features. When you connect a third-party service:

  • We access only the data from that service that is necessary to provide the features you have enabled

  • Your data within that service remains subject to the third party's own privacy policy and terms

  • You may disconnect any integration at any time through your account settings, after which we will cease accessing that service's data

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services you choose to connect.

3.3 Infrastructure Providers


We use cloud hosting and database service providers to operate the Service. These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements and are prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing infrastructure services to us.

3.4 Analytics


We may use analytics tools to understand aggregate usage patterns. Analytics data does not identify individual users and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

  • Conversation history: Retained while your account is active; you may delete individual conversations at any time

  • AI memory files: Retained while your account is active; you may edit or delete them at any time

  • After account deletion: We will delete your personal data within 30 days, except as required by law

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

7. Users Outside the United States


The Service is currently intended for users in the United States only. If you access the Service from outside the US, please be aware that your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. We do not specifically target users in the European Union or other jurisdictions with distinct data protection regimes (such as GDPR), and such users should refrain from using the Service at this time.
